StrataKernel Software
StrataKernel Software is an independent software development company focused on designing, developing and publishing mobile applications and web-based software. Its primary focus is on innovative mobile applications for general use, complemented by specialised software for stereoscopic and panoramic image visualisation and processing, geoscience, education and data analysis. The company develops both its own software products and custom solutions.
Two areas. One design philosophy.
StrataKernel brings together two connected areas: Apps for general use, education and entertainment, and DG for Digital Geology and geoscience. Sphere Viewer, Log Viewer, GeoDBS Manager and Paper Log Scanner are among the applications developed for geoscience, supporting visualisation, image processing and data analysis.
Clear. Visual. Purposeful.
The projects may look very different, but the underlying goal is the same: combine thoughtful design, visualisation and interaction in software that makes information easier to understand and more enjoyable to explore.
From original software products to custom solutions, projects range from geoscience tools for stereoscopic and panoramic imagery and data analysis to educational applications and imaginative apps for everyday use.
